Nena Wiley, President

Nena brings a career of relevant, first-hand experience to the direction of the Pure Pursuit Intelligence Network. Educated at universities in the U.S. and abroad, including the University of Arizona, University of Florence in Italy, University of the Americas in Mexico, Stanford University, Arizona State University and Maxwell AFB, AL.

As a professional air defense photojournalist, she won two national awards in 1991; The Aviation Writer's Association (AWA) Award of Journalism Excellence; and the Premier Award of Excellence; The Earl D. Osborn Award. Nena is the author of a non-fiction book titled America's Drug Enforcement Air Force (Zenith,1992).

A 1993 graduate of the FBI's Citizen Academy, Nena has also pursued careers in law enforcement, counter-terrorism, and Remote Viewing.

In 2001, Nena attained a First Emergency Services Responder Certificate as a Traumatic Stress Specialist.

As a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol, Nena Wiley holds the CAP rank of Major (LTC selectee) and has served the United States Air Force and her community for 18 years as a Search and Rescue and Counterdrug Mission Pilot. As a Master Mission Public Affairs Officer, she also served as staff advisor on the sensitive release of information and public affairs matters pertaining to Search and Rescue, Disaster Relief, Civil Defense and Counterdrug operations. Her duties included liaisons with military personnel, law enforcement authorities and state agencies. Major Wiley has held command staff positions as Commander, Glendale Composite Squadron 308, Wing Protocol Officer, Director of the Arizona Wing 50th Anniversary in 1995, and the Annual Wing Conference in 2000.

In 1995, Nena was elected as the first female President of the Air Force Association's (AFA) Frank Luke Chapter in Phoenix and served in that position for two years.

As President of Pure Pursuit, Nena presently specializes in air defense and counter-terrorism data-mining and publishes professional email information services for Military Commanders, Aviators, LEOs, Emergency Service personnel and the public.
